USAG
United States of America Gymnastics is categorized in levels of difficulty. The levels consist of 1-10. Level 10 is the highest level of competition. After level 10 gymnast can qualify and compete as Elite. The Elite Program provides competitive experience for gymnasts aspiring to the Pre-Elite Training Squad and National Team. The gymnasts who represent the United States in international meets are selected from the USA Championships each year.
USAIGC
United States Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs was established in 1973, and is not an Elite Program responsible for training gymnast for our Olympic Team. USAIGC used the NCAA Collegiate Rules to create a competitive program preparing gymnast to compete in college. There is 6 levels: copper, bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and premier. The highest level of difficulty, premier, is equivalent to Level 10 in USAG.
